In January, Schatz Center Faculty Affiliate Kevin Fingerman spoke at the California Bioresources Economy Summit. Hosted by the California Air Resources Board and UC Berkeley, this event brought together state agencies, private sector technology and project development companies, and researchers, to discuss when and how biomass waste materials from cattle manure to crop and forestry residues should be mobilized to offer economic development and climate mitigation in California. Kevin presented on current developments in our California Biopower Impacts Project.
