Our facilities
The Center is located in Arcata, California, on the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt. We are approximately one short “block” north of 14th Street (through the parking lot, and up the steep driveway). You can also reach us via the BSS building / Native Forum breezeway; we are to the west of the BSS.
Please note that Schatz Center facilities are not open to the public on a drop-in basis.
Parking
- Two ADA accessible parking spots are located next to the Center: one in the south side driveway (next to our West Wing building), and one immediately to the north of the main building. You can also park in the ADA lot south of the Native Forum, and access the Schatz Center via the BSS breezeways and ramp.
- Depending on season and time of day, general parking may be available in the lot located south of the Center.
- Please note that a parking permit or day pass is required to park on campus, including in ADA-reserved spots. Day passes can be purchased (a) via the Passport app, or (b) at the main lot kiosk and in ticket dispensers in both the south lot and main lot.
- Four-hour and metered street parking options are often available on 14th street and surrounding neighborhoods (typically within one to four blocks of the Center).
