Bioenergy is the conversion of biological materials, also known as biomass, into energy. Our land use, bioenergy, and emissions research includes analyzing the carbon footprint of biomass conversion systems, studying the feasibility and impacts of rural bioenergy systems, and evaluating the implications of incentivizing biofuel pathways.
